Skyrim: Dawnguard Trailer

A few months ago, Bethesda Studios released the Skyrim Creation Kit which provided endless fan-made content for the game. The Creation Kit, along with other add-ons such as Kinect Voice integration, improved kill animations, and horse combat brought the franchise into an overdrive.

But those are just few of what Bethesda has in store for us. Last month, they announced the first Skyrim expansion: Dawnguard.

Dawnguard is scheduled to be for release on June 26 for the Xbox 360 and no release dates yet for the PC and PS3 versions. The add-on revolves around the Dawnguard, an organization dedicated to hunting Vampires and stopping the return of the vampire Lord Harkon, who intends to use an Elder Scroll to permanently blot out the sun. The players can choose whether to aid the Dawnguard, or join the Vampires, becoming a Vampire Lord themselves in the process.

Here is the trailer  for Dawnguard:

From the beginning, the leaders of Bethesda made it clear that unlike with Oblivion (i.e: Horse Armor Expansion) they’re not going to release small pieces of DLC, instead they aim to provide “substantial” and large expansions (similar to Morrowind) for Skyrim.

Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders HD Collections coming to PlayStation Vita

First, to sum it all up, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is a re-release of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker in HD. It will be released on November 2011 in Japan for the PS3 and XBOX 360. Zone of the Endres HD Collection, on the other hand, is a re-release of Zone of the Enders and Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner in HD as well. It is dated for a 2012 release.

It has been announced by Konami at the Tokyo Game Show 2011 that both the Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders HD Collections will also have it's versions for the PlayStation Vita.

One of the major features to be implemented by Sony for the PS Vita is its "Transfarring" ability, which basically means moving and playing saved games between the handheld and the PS3. Both HD collections will reportedly allow PS3 and PS Vita owners to take advantage of this feature. The HD Collections for the PS Vita are currently dated to arrive in 2012 as well.
